This tough strip is manufactured from black PVC (polyvinyl chloride thermoplastic polymer), has generous wall thickness and two self gripping profiles on each inside wall. Available in two types:
for 1.5mm thick panels and with no metal insert — Product Code Number 1010
for 1mm thick panels — Product Code Number 1012.

PVC gasketing has a high strength to weight ratio and good flexibility, as well as good air, moisture, and dust sealing properties. In addition, PVC is very durable, does not corrode and offers resistance to UV and many chemicals. PVC is also a good insulator, making it a good choice for electric and electronic applications.

Normally supplied in 100m lengths, although other lengths are available to special order.

Suitable for a wide range of applications, including electric panels and machinery covers.
