This gasketing is manufactured from black PVC (polyvinyl chloride thermoplastic polymer) and has a red self gripping fin along each inside wall.
PVC gasketing has a high strength to weight ratio and good flexibility, as well as good air, moisture, and dust sealing properties. In addition, PVC is very durable, does not corrode and offers resistance to UV and many chemicals. PVC is also a good insulator, making it an expedient choice for electric and electronic applications.
Suitable for panels or doors of between 1mm and 3.5mm. Supplied in 100m lengths.
