This strip is manufactured from black EPDM sponge rubber strip and has one hollow core. The width excluding the fins is 8mm, the overall width is 9.6mm and the overall height is 13.3mm. Supplied in 50m lengths.

EPDM gasketing has a low residual displacement after the compression has been removed and can tolerate a wide range of temperatures. UV, oxygen and ozone have little effect on EPDM gasketing, which makes it suitable for outdoor applications, and it tolerates water, salt fluids, steam, alcohol, glycol and weak acids or alkalis but not oils or hydrocarbon-based solvents.
