This innovative product protects the top front-opening door on most types of gaming machine cabinets and is far less obtrusive and unsightly than traditional security products that have a rigid metal bar bolted to the cabinet and secured by a padlock.
The industrial strength heavy-duty cable is a 7 x 19 multi-strand type, with carbon steel terminals for maximum resistance to attack, and has been tested independently to withstand a breaking strain of 2 tonnes. The cable has a PVC coating to protect the machine cabinet and is 1.1m in length; other lengths are available to special order.
The ingenious design allows you to choose the appropriate level of security for a particular location and to change the lock if, for example, the machine is to be moved to a different region. The lock housing accepts any of eight insert locks produced by Camlock Systems:
10 pin, extra security, ‘Octagon Bullet’, hardened steel body and core — BT88871RL
10 pin, extra security, ‘Octagon’ — T88871RL
10 pin — T8871RL
8 pin, attack resistant, reprogrammable ‘V Matic’ — VAM8871RL
7 pin, attack resistant, ‘V Series’ — VA8871RL
8 pin, reprogrammable ‘Camatic’ — GM8871RL
7 pin, extra security, ‘Octagon’ — 88871RL
7 pin — 8871RL.
All of the insert locks available can be configured to be compatible with other Camlock products used by a customer, eg. existing machine door locks, providing ‘one key fits all’ convenience.
The Cable Strap Lock is easily fitted to the majority of gaming machines and other applications and is secured by four recessed stainless steel mounting bolts. The robust zinc alloy die-cast lock housing has a smart black finish and is supplied with two steel internal reinforcing plates to prevent pull attacks.
