The top cover of Northwestern®* bulk vending machines are factory-fitted with standard, flat key locks that provide adequate security for supervised locations. However, you may wish to have the reassurance of retrofitting a much higher security lock that offers increased resistance to physical attacks.
Camlock Systems Inc. offers a low profile radial pin tumbler lock featuring a 7 pin mechanism with over 500,000 different key combinations. The durable, all brass, chrome plated construction of the lock, together with an anti-drill center, provide the protection required for those locations where higher security is needed. The lock is fitted with an adaptor for use with ¼” x 20 threaded rods. The key is removable at the 12 and 6 o’clock positions.
The cylinder’s unique, low profile head makes it extremely difficult for vandals to use vice grips to gain access to a Northwestern machine as they will be unable to turn the lock.
The UP05-1011A is specifically designed to retrofit to the top cover of Northwestern® bulk vending machines, to offer far higher security. Replacement keys can only be purchased through Camlock Systems.
