This uncompromising padlock is suitable for use in locations that are unsupervised or which may be targeted by thieves. The 100mm solid brass body provides a high level of protection to the locking mechanism and the padlock’s tough appearance is designed to deter opportunistic attacks. The stainless steel, bar type, closed shackle rotates freely to resist sawing and filing. The body is finished in durable polished chrome, which resists scratching.
The Series 19 is available with one of a range of locking cylinders, allowing you to choose the appropriate level of security for a particular location and to change the lock if, for example, a higher level of security becomes appropriate. These options range from an economical seven-pin mechanism, up to a 10 pin patented Octagon lock in hardened steel and offering over five million key combinations. All of the cylinders available can be configured to be compatible with other Camlock products used by a customer, eg. existing cabinet door locks, providing ‘one key fits all’ convenience.
The bar padlock can be supplied to operate with an existing key combination, if required. This provides customers with the convenience of one key operation for the padlock as well as with other compatible Camlock locks that may already be in use.
Where required, customers can also specify the number of keys supplied with suites of keyed alike or master keyed versions of the bar padlock, ensuring no surplus keys are available to compromise security.
