The body of this no-nonsense hinge is manufactured from tough die-cast zinc alloy (specification DIN-EN 1774-ZnAl4Cu1), which has a black powder coated finish. The hinge pin is stainless steel (specification AISI 304) and the bearing is hardwearing thermoplastic (Delrin®).

The 500 hinge is supplied with a hinge cover, which is black polyamide (specification DIN-EN ISO 1043-1 PA6 GFR 30). The hinge is fitted to the application with two screws and to the door using four M5 countersunk screws (all not supplied). The hinge measures 60mm in length and the overall width is 97mm. The maximum hinge rotation angle is 180°.
