Electronic locks

An electronic lock (or electric lock) is a locking device operated by means of electric current. Electronic locks do not require a physical key or turning force to open; instead an electronic pulse send by a controller engages or disengages the latch.

Some of our electronic locks such as the 7090 are stand-alone locks, which means that their components are combined for simplicity. Usually, this includes the power supply controller and the reader but it can also comprise the locking element.

Should you require all or some of the benefits of electronic locks in a locking system, please view our range of electronic locks or we can develop a bespoke electronic locking system to your specifications.
